It has been a busy month since my last post. I took on another assignment to process Missionary application after Elder and Sister Orton left. The new Medical adviser couple came in, Elder and Sister Sellers a couple days after the Orton left. I have been trying to help Sister Sellers learn the system but find that she will need a little more time to learn. While I am still learning how to process the application myself. I hope that I will be able to get a system worked out so that I can help her feel successful in being the Clerk.
Besides this new assignment, Ted has been working with the different landlords to renew or get new apartments for the Elders and Sisters in the mission home. We learned quickly the Hong Kong real estate is now like the States. Ted has finally figured out how to work with the realtor and landlord now. Hopefully, they will be able to get a service missionary couple to serve. We will train them so they could eventually take over the job. And hopefully, they will keep the system going so that new mission president will not have the trouble with the 38 apartments in the future!
Some places we visited lately:
Hong Kong British Defense Museum:
We saw some great exhibit on the History of Hong Kong, saw the weapons used. I never knew so much history is there even though I had lived here 40 years ago. It also brought back a lot of memory!

Down the stair case is when they keep weapons and gun powder etc. This is so pretty to take a picture just to see the silhouette. |
