Be prepared, this is going to be a long post, one of two!!

Time is going so fast the last couple months, finally got a few minutes I could update the blog:

June, 2017
It has been a very busy month.  Friday, 6/23, Elsie and David Gibblets, Quinton and Linsie (Sister Wong) came to Hong Kong for a short visit after they picked up Linsie from the Taiwan Taipei mission.  The minute they landed, we put them to work teaching YSA how to do social dance.  It was a great night and the YSA loved them.  We even went to the wet market for dinner - not the cleanest place to eat but everyone had fun!  We did not get home until midnight!

We have a 600 plus square feet apartment so the kids has to sleep on pads and couches.  We put the coffee table on the window sill, David and Elsie slept in the single bedroom with pad on the floor, Linsie and Quinton got the living room.

We took a day off from the office and went to the Nian Lian Garden and Chi Lin Nunnery, it was hot but not as humid as we normally felt.  The scenery was great.  We then joined the Millers shopping in Shatin.

We went to shop at Chow Seng Seng Jewelry store.  This is Celi Miller's friend.  He was very nice and gave us great discount!

After shopping, we went up to Victoria peak, It was cloudy at first but then the wind blew opened the cloud and we were able to take some great picture.

We walked over to the place where they dedicated Hong Kong for preaching of the gospel.  We were surprised that we could find it even in the dark:  July 14, 1947

A great selfie on the tram ride back down the hill.  I am getting good at taking selfies!

The Wongs were able to visit their grandpa and grandma.  This is the first time they met him since they were babies!

Picture of my convert from 37 years ago.  I had to take a picture of him with his suit.  He normally does not like to wear suit but because he was visiting a ward as a high counselmen, he had to dress up!

Linsie and I love the baby mangos!  We can each eat one in one bite!

The Monday before the Wongs left, we had a family home evening to celebrate the departure of the James (Jerry and Georgia).  I made the fruit pizza again with coconut cream.  It was a hit!

After the Wong left, we were invited to attended a YSA Self-Reliance over night conference.  We are so impressed with all these YSA, they were able to put on a wonderful business proposal in less then 24 hours!
