Sister Yan Depart from MTC

Today being Tuesday, May 8, 2007 Sister Yan board Delta airline from SLC to Hawaii, she have been transferred from MTC in Provo to her mission field in Honolulu, Hawaii. Leaving MTC almost two weeks earlier, instead of original scheduled date of May 23. To her surprised, she is being accompanied by 10 elders and 1 sister to the mission field. One of the elder in her group have not flew in a plane before, not knowing airport securities enforcement, not allowing gels, contact solution, shampoo in the carry on luggage, all items ended up were being confiscated at the airport.

While in the airport, an individual approached her asking where to buy a copy of the Book of Mormon, she presented her first Book of Mormon with this individual.

Her Mission President will greet them at Honolulu airport, they will spend the night at the mission home, and will be greeted with their companion next morning. All her traveling companions are called to proselyte. Sister Yan mentioned she will spend half a day in the visitor center and half time doing proselyting.
