Wow, it is mid February already!

I can hardly believe that half of February is gone. As of yesterday, we could even file 2010's tax return, where have all the time gone!

Just a quick recap of the last few months.

December, 2010

We were very lucky and blessed to have all our children home this year. We took a short trip up to Canada and visited Jessica's brother and sister-in-law's family and their new baby boy. We enjoyed wonderful meals - huge sushi and nice dim sum in Richmond. Afterward, we head home. Ada left on New Years Eve so she could be back to Provo to spend the New Year with her friends. Justin and Jessica left New Year day and Alicia and Brenda followed a couple day later. Ted and I had gotton used to just being two of us at home that there was hardly anything in the frige. The kids were worried that we are going to starve them because there were nothing in the house to eat. Well, as it turned out, we have way too much food as usual. We missed our children alot afterward. Now, we have to get back to just the two of us again!

My niece, Lisa Heckathon, gave birth to a healthy baby girl whom they called Augustina, in memory of my brother Austin. She is such a cute baby!

January, 2011

I can't believe it has been a year since mother passed away. David and Jennifer came down from Tri-cities and together we visited the grave site on the 20th. It seems only yesterday both Mom and Dad were with us. Now they have both departed. I have to say now and then something will trigger in my mind of thing Dad said and Mom did that makes me missed them. I know they are still very closed to my heart and I look forward to seeing them again someday.

Ted is working less overtime lately so it was nice to have him home more. However, he is working some second shifts so on days that he does, I won't see him until the morning because I now have to be in bed early so that I can be up at 5 in the morning.

Seminary is going well for me. I love studying the Doctrine & Covenants. It re-affirms to me over and over that the gospel is true and that Joseph Smith was the living prophet whom God chose in this last dispensation to restore his church on the earth. I know God lives and He loves us. I am so thankful for this privilege to be able to study, learn and teach (be taught)!

Sorry this is such boring blog... no picture yet... but I will update as I find my camera...
